Can you paint an image I have?
We can paint an image or photo though it needs to be a high quality image. We do not paint other artists’ work and reserve the right to reject the job if we feel it is another artist’s design.
How long does a mural last (does the mural fade)?
We use the best quality paint on the market that is UV resistant. Though we do recommend to the client we can cover the mural with a UV based clear coat or even anti-graffiti coating. To further enhance the lifespan of the mural.
Would a mural deter vandalism on your property?
In most cases yes, though we find the best approach is to incorporate graffiti lettering within the artwork which is painted by a respected graffiti artist from that area.
As shown in our Sydney Water anti-graffiti mural project case study
Should I be worried about the paint fumes?
With indoors jobs we can use a low odour water based paint, if there isn’t adequate ventilation or you are concerned about fumes.
Do you paint at live or public events and are there any health risks involved?
Yes, we do paint at live and public events and will also ensure the area will be protected from any possible spray paint contamination. We also provide to these clients and those who request it a MSDS sheet that can help assure you that the paint we carefully selected is a safe method to use in these events. To which there may b large numbers of people.
How far in advance should I book a mural project?
Lead times vary, but we recommend booking at least 4–8 weeks in advance, especially for large projects.
Can a mural be removed or painted over later?
Yes, murals can be painted over, but removal may require sandblasting or other surface treatments depending on the material.
How do I maintain my mural?
Murals typically require minimal maintenance. If outdoors, a UV-protective clear coat can help preserve colors longer. Avoid pressure washing directly on the artwork.
What surfaces can you paint on?
We can paint on a variety of surfaces, including brick, concrete, wood, metal, and plaster. The surface must be clean, dry, and properly prepared for the best results.
Do I need to prepare the wall before painting?
We handle surface preparation, including cleaning, priming, and repairing minor cracks. However, heavily damaged walls may require professional repairs before we begin.
Can I request changes to the design after approval?
Minor changes can usually be accommodated, but significant revisions may require additional design fees.
Do you offer digital previews of the mural before painting?
Yes, we provide digital mockups to help visualize the final artwork before painting begins.
What styles of murals do you specialize in?
Our artists work in various styles, including realism, abstract, graffiti, typography, and illustrative designs.
What happens if the mural gets vandalized?
We offer touch-up services for an additional fee. Anti-graffiti coatings can also make clean up easier.
What happens if the weather is bad for an outdoor mural?
We monitor weather conditions and may reschedule if rain or extreme temperatures could affect paint adhesion.
Can the public or employees be involved in the painting process?
Yes! We offer interactive mural projects where community members or staff can contribute under artist supervision.
Can murals prevent graffiti?
In many cases, murals are one of the most effective long-term solutions for reducing graffiti.
Rather than repeatedly removing vandalism, a well-designed mural can discourage tagging by increasing visual ownership and respect for the space.
