Blackbook Ink was invited to paint at the This Is Not Art festival held in Newcastle on the 2 – 5 of October 2014. For this festival we had Asone, Puke and Sekt attend and paint a wall that is 70m long by 2.4m high along the carpark at Newcastle Panthers along King St. The three artists painted the whole wall in 3 days whilst the festival was running. We couldn’t of done this without the help from Ironlak, supplying us with such a great range of colours to achieve this truely unique street art mural in Newcastle. As well as the support we had from Simone at Street Art Walking who helped to organise getting the wall at Panthers and working out the logistics making this project possible for us to paint.
