In 2016 Blackbook Ink was approached by OG Dogs to create their brand. To which is broken down in detail within this post (coming soon).
Once the branding side was established, we had a clear direction of how we wanted the business to come across. Being that it was to be fun and quirky. The idea came up about creating a pug as a play-off using the word dogs in the business name.
From this we pushed it further being the owner was into hip hop we created a pug with an afro, big glasses and a big gold chain. Giving him a kind of Run DMC look.
So with that all in mind we mocked up the concept, which was loved and approved without any changes required.
