Lakemba Public School contacted Blackbook Ink in regards to painting the side of a demountable building. So our lead artist had a meeting with the school and discussed a few ideas. To which it was decided that the mural was to be educational in some way. So the best way to show that is to have books being read within the mural. So it was decided to have a koala up a tree looking down over the kids. Reading them a story of “The Adventures Of Scoot” which is a story based on the school mascot.
