Hebersham Public School enlisted the creative expertise of a graffiti artist from Blackbook Ink to bring their vision to life through a captivating mural project. The primary objective of the mural was to provide an engaging and entertaining visual experience for the children during their reflection time. Blackbook Ink proposed the concept of an immersive underwater scene, meticulously placing a variety of creatures throughout the entire room. As the children explored the space, they encountered different marine inhabitants such as turtles, fishes, and even a shipwreck with an octopus tentacle emerging from the cracks.

The school greatly benefited from the presence of the mural, as it created a dynamic and visually stimulating environment for the children. The underwater theme not only captured their imagination but also served as a source of inspiration and contemplation during their time out. The engaging artwork provided a positive and engaging distraction, promoting a sense of calm and reflection while encouraging the students to reconsider their actions.
